Geometric Cabinet Nomenclature Cards

There are twenty six shapes and twenty six corresponding description cards.

Preparation

1.The Directress takes the cards. She then lays out the cards on the floor mat .

2.Directress then shows the child how to do the pairing exercise.

3.She uses her left hand to take the shape cards and then keeps the left hand on the card .

4.She then finds the corresponding description card that matches. The matching cards are placed together, side by side. This process is repeated until all the cards are paired.

5.The Directress may also use theThree period Lesson to teach the child.
